We’re officially underway at Summer Springboard on the campus of NYU!

Students from across the region arrived in NYC, kicking off an exciting week of learning, exploration and connection. After checking in and meeting their mentors and classmates, students quickly began forming new friendships, energized by shared curiosity and the iconic, cityscape NYU campus in the heart of Manhattan.

Now it’s time to dive in. Our NYU students are gearing up for hands-on academic courses taught by experienced professionals, memorable excursions around NYC, and True You sessions designed to spark personal growth and future planning.

Whether they’re walking Washington Square Park, collaborating in classrooms or discovering what motivates them most, this group is ready to take on everything Summer Springboard has to offer. The week is going to fly by!

That’s a wrap on a memorable Summer Springboard experience!

What a journey it’s been on campus. After one incredible week of hands-on academic courses, inspiring workshops and fun excursions, our students have crossed the finish line of an unforgettable Summer Springboard program. They’ve explored new ideas, challenged themselves and made friendships that will last long after they leave campus.

Throughout the program, students gained valuable insight into their interests and aspirations, while reflecting on the kind of learners they want to become. From engaging classroom discussions to real-world experiences beyond campus, this summer has been all about growth, discovery and setting the foundation for what’s next.

We’re so proud of everything they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see where their journeys take them. Here’s to new beginnings and exciting futures ahead!

Summer Springboard has kicked off in historic Oxford!

All students have arrived on-program, settling into their new home surrounded by the timeless charm and academic spirit that fills this incredible city. The vibrant influence of Oxford’s world-renowned institutions is everywhere, sparking curiosity and inspiration as students start to connect, explore and settle in. The energy is relaxed but full of promise as the adventure begins.

Over the next week, students will dive into engaging courses, discover the city’s rich history on exciting excursions, and take part in True You sessions designed to help them grow personally and academically.

From lively discussions to new friendships blossoming, this group is ready to make the most of every moment in this one-of-a-kind setting. We’re excited to see where the journey leads!

Students at Oxford are almost finished with their memorable Summer Springboard experience!

What a journey it’s been on campus. After an incredible week of hands-on academic courses, inspiring afternoon activities and adventurous weekend excursions, our students are about to cross the finish line of an unforgettable Summer Springboard program. They’ve explored new ideas, challenged themselves and made friendships that will last long after they leave campus.

Throughout the program, students gained valuable insight into their college major interests and career aspirations, while reflecting on the kind of learners and future professionals they want to become. From engaging classroom discussions to real-world experiences beyond campus, this summer has been all about growth, discovery and setting the foundation for what’s next.

BLOG POST FOR JULY 14

After a fantastic first session, we welcomed thirteen new students to Summer Springboard at Oxford for Session 2! This session introduced two new courses, Economics with Dr. Owoye, and Psychology and Neuroscience with Prof. Carmen Minon. Psychology and Neuroscience students had the opportunity to hear from guest speaker Peter Vaga. Our economics students put their problem solving skills to the test, in an economics scavenger hunt! Solving clues, and using their economics knowledge to discover Oxford landmarks, like Carfax tower, and the Covered Market.

On Tuesday, the classes came together for a tour of Christ Church College, led by an Oxford student. Christ Church College has educated thirteen British Prime Ministers, authors including Lewis Carroll, Nobel Prize winners, and philosophers like John Locke. Its beautiful gothic architecture even inspired Hogwarts’s Great Hall!

The students are enjoying getting to know each other, Oxford’s gorgeous campus, and immersing themselves in their courses!

The energy is contagious as everyone starts to feel at home on this stunning campus and begins to get to know one another. With two weeks of hands-on learning and exciting experiences ahead, the anticipation is building, and so is the sense of community.

In the coming days, students will jump into engaging classes, explore the campus and beyond through fun excursions, and participate in True You sessions designed to spark self-discovery and growth.

Whether collaborating in class or soaking up Duke’s unique atmosphere, this group is ready to make every moment count. We can’t wait to see what unfolds!

Week 1 at Duke University was off to a memorable start!

Our students have completed an exciting first week filled with hands-on learning, meaningful self-discovery and new friendships.

From diving into their academic courses to kicking off the True You workshop, they’ve been exploring fresh ideas and uncovering what truly motivates them. The Duke campus buzzes with energy as students challenge themselves and connect with peers from all over.

Last week’s excursions gave students the chance to step outside the classroom, sparking inspiration and deepening bonds. It’s been incredible to see how quickly they’re growing in confidence, curiosity and collaboration.

This week, there’s even more to look forward to: more engaging courses, deeper reflection and unforgettable experiences. We can’t wait to see where it leads!

Summer Springboard is officially underway at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo!

Students from across the country arrived in beautiful San Luis Obispo, ready to kick off two weeks of hands-on learning, personal growth and unforgettable memories. After moving into their dorms and meeting roommates and mentors, students were quick to connect, brought together by shared goals, fresh excitement and the stunning backdrop of Cal Poly’s vibrant, tech-forward campus. The energy is high, the sun is shining, and this crew is already off and running.

With Day 1 behind them, students are jumping into a dynamic schedule packed with interactive academic courses led by inspiring instructors, fun and educational excursions around the Central Coast, and True You sessions that spark reflection and self-discovery.

Whether exploring Cal Poly’s innovative labs or soaking in the laid-back SLO atmosphere, this group is ready to make every moment count. We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead!

Week 1 at Cal Poly got off to a strong start!

Students wrapped up their first week full of new ideas, real challenges and great connections. The first True You workshop helped them reflect on what matters most as they dive deeper into their college and career goals. Academic courses pushed them to apply what they’re learning in hands-on ways, sparking curiosity and teamwork.

Their first excursions gave them a chance to explore the beautiful Central Coast and build friendships along the way. The energy is steady and focused as everyone gets comfortable with the pace.

Week 2 is coming up fast, bringing more chances to learn, grow, and make the most of this experience. We’re looking forward to seeing what’s next!

Our students have just finished an inspiring first week packed with hands-on learning, creative thinking and meaningful connections. From diving into their academic courses to kicking off the first True You workshop, they’re already exploring big ideas and discovering what drives them.

The energy on the MIT campus and around Cambridge is electric, sparking curiosity and collaboration at every turn.

Excursions this week took the group beyond the classroom. Whether exploring local landmarks, engaging in interactive activities, or experiencing the unique culture of this Massachusetts campus, it’s been unforgettable. It’s been amazing to watch students grow more confident, connected, and curious as they dive deeper into their journeys.

With Week 2 right around the corner, there’s even more to look forward to: more innovative courses, deeper self-exploration and unforgettable experiences. This adventure is just getting started, and the best is yet to come!

BLOG POST FOR JULY 10

The energy on the MIT campus and around Cambridge is electric, sparking curiosity and collaboration at every turn.

Here are some highlights from the first week of the program:

All of our students are super eager to learn and have been enjoying their classes!
Project Based Engineering had an excursion in The Marine Lab where they were able to control and complete tasks with underwater robots.
Fundamentals of Engineering has toured the local energy harvesters manufacturing plant, where MIT creates all of their renewable energy harvesters. They collaborated with nearby labs to help develop new devices.
In spirit of the World Cup, our Athletic Club hosted our own games with everyone wearing their favorite soccer jerseys.
Our mentor groups have completed their team’s flag which they get to present.
We have a MIT leaderhip board, which displays all of our mentor groups and the points they have accumulated from their good behavior!
The groups have just finished competing in their second chance to win a big sum of points for their team. Where they had to complete various small mini games and search for clues on how to proceed.

We had a fun start to the Summer Springboard program here on the campus of UC San Diego!

Students from across the country arrived in sunny San Diego, ready to kick off an exciting week of learning, growth and connection. After checking into their residence halls and meeting their roommates and mentors, students quickly began building new friendships, energized by the coastal breeze, shared goals, and the stunning UC San Diego campus nestled near the Pacific Ocean. The atmosphere is already vibrant as everyone starts settling in and embracing this new adventure.

Looking ahead, our UC San Diego students are preparing for an engaging lineup of hands-on academic courses taught by passionate instructors, inspiring excursions around the greater San Diego area, and True You sessions focused on self-discovery and future pathways.

Whether soaking up the sun during outdoor activities or collaborating in classrooms with panoramic views, this group is poised to make the most of every opportunity that comes their way. We’re excited to see all the memories and growth that the next week will bring!

Here are some highlights from the start of the program:

A smooth check in process with our residential students excited about getting a first hand taste of on campus life and our commuters eager to attend class on campus.
Mentors got to know their new students with some great icebreakers and name games
Pizza party was enjoyed by all of our students!
A brief introduction of all mentors along with Campus Director, Academic Manager and a very brief overview of the program.
Residential campers settled into their dorm rooms with an amazing view of the Pacific Ocean and had first hand look at the paragliders over the beach.
