As a Ph.D. candidate working within RIPE (Realizing Improved Photosynthetic Efficiency), I generate relevant biological tools and discoveries for international smallholder farmers. To date, I have been awarded over $250,000 in fellowships and awards to investigate the intersection of molecular biology and food systems thinking. I’m working towards a position that leverages research, teaching, and science communication to increase equity and accessibility in science– locally and across emerging nations.
