Summer Springboard invites ambitious high school students to join us for a two-week SUMMER program on the campus Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CALIFORNIA.
Students will dive deep into a specific subject area with creative, dynamic instructors, engaging professors and professional experts.
Cal Poly SLO is California’s first polytechnic school. The university is famous for its renowned Learn by Doing educational philosophy. For the last three decades, it has been named the best public, master’s-level university in the West by US News & World Report’s annual Best Colleges guidebook.
Cal Poly has one of the largest and most scenic university campuses in the United States. Set between rolling hills and the Pacific coast, with perfect weather year-round (they average 315 days of sunshine), this is an ideal location to spend two weeks on a pre-college academic program with Summer Springboard!

At the heart of your Summer Springboard program is the academic track you choose. Depending on your field of interest, you will take a course, led by an expert instructor, that is designed to give you a taste of the real-world college experience at a competitive university.

THE SUMMER SPRINGBOARD EXPERIENCE
Hands-on Learning
Dive deep into our academic immersion courses taught by industry professionals. Imagine learning Law from someone who argued before the Supreme Court or writing under the guidance of a published author.
College Prep
Through campus visits and enrichment electives, we provide a deeper understanding of the college admissions process. Students also make new friends from across the United States and around the world and learn to live as a college student.
Career Exploration
Beyond theory, there will be excursions and guest speakers for students to hear firsthand from experts in their field of interest. Past company visits included Google, Bloomberg, and the United Nations Foundation.
Weekend Excursions
Whether it’s Central Park, the Golden Gate Bridge or even a pristine California beach, students visit the must-see sites of the region. Also, students will have a fun day with friends at an amusement park, National Park or other nearby attraction.
