Hands-on Learning
Dive deep into our academic immersion courses taught by Cal Poly professors, many of which have decades of industry experience. Imagine learning digital advertising from a former digital communications whiz at Walt Disney Studios or political science from a former political campaign strategist.
College Prep
Through a campus tour, college readiness workshops and True You, we provide students with the opportunity to gain clarity on their path ahead. Our goal is for them to walk away with a deeper understanding of the college admissions process. Students also make new friends from across the United States and around the world and learn to live as a college student.
Career Exploration
Beyond theory, there will be excursions and guest speakers for students to hear firsthand from experts in their field of interest. Past academic excursions include visits to SLO film festival, local marketing firms and the San Luis Obispo courthouse.
Weekend Excursions
On the weekend, students will explore California’s Central Coast which offers world-class hiking and beaches. Additional highlights include Vista Lago Adventure Park, Avila Beach, Morro Bay, Ravine water park, local farmer’s markets, a SLO Blues baseball game and more!
