Summer Springboard invites ambitious high school students to join us for a 9-Day virtual program experience this summer.
Micro-Internships take place over the course of nine days during the summer. These micro-internships are learning and development opportunities for teens, exclusively reserved for students who enroll via Summer Springboard and iX LaunchPad.
Each of our virtual programs gives you the exceptional opportunity to observe and assist with a notable project. The goal is to develop your employability skills, add to your resume/CV, and offer you the chance to make new professional contacts.

Blockchain & Cryptocurrency:
Headquartered in Ontario, Canada, InnovFin specializes in Blockchain technology and also provides capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and Augmented Reality (AR)/Virtual Reality (VR).
With ten years of experience in the finance industry, they share their passion by helping finance companies integrate disruptive technologies into their businesses. InnovFin helps clients access new markets by tapping into their worldwide networks and leveraging the power of emerging technologies.
Our students previously worked on a project outlining potential avenues for involving cryptocurrencies in the support of charities and non-profit organizations. Various strategic consideration were required as part of this project.
VIRTUAL MICRO-INTERNSHIP COURSES TO CHOOSE FROM
DATA ANALYTICS ONLINE
Students will get a chance to work on the powerful tools that data analysts use that enable better decision-making. This course will bring together technology, mathematics, and problem-solving skills for students to evaluate data and extract meaningful insights from it to assist in driving real business value.
UX/UI DESIGN ONLINE
Students in this course will develop an understanding of the UX Design process and how to create meaningful products. They will explore the importance of designing interactive experiences with a human-centered focus.
WEB DEVELOPMENT ONLINE
Students in this course will design and develop simple frontend web applications using HTML, CSS and Javascript. They will use GIT to version control code and collaborate with other developers on the same project.
DIGITAL MARKETING ONLINE
This innovative college-level course in partnership with iXperience is perfectly designed to help high schoolers gain real world knowledge and experience before committing to a Digital Marketing path in college. You will get the opportunity to apply your newly gained skills to a hands-on project for a positive cause.
MANAGEMENT CONSULTING ONLINE
Management consulting is the perfect course for students who are seeking exposure to a multitude of different industries before deciding on their own career path. Students will learn about the four different classes of management consultants in the field such as, strategy consulting, implementation consulting, industry specialists and functional specialists.
BLOCKCHAIN & CRYPTOCURRENCY ONLINE
Students will kick off their week with an introduction to blockchain, then move on to distributed databases and consensus. They will then learn about decentralization and the mechanics of blockchain, and finish the week learning about cryptography and hashing.
SOFTWARE ENGINEERING ONLINE
In each classroom session, students will learn new skills and aspects of web development which they will be able to apply to their real-world project. In their groups, they will work on project deliverables, construct their project documents and work on their presentations.
Summer Springboard also hosts in-person summer programs on the campuses of the following locations:
UC Berkeley, Yale University, UCLA, Georgetown University, UC San Diego, Oxford, New York, Boston, Duke, and Georgia Tech. More campus locations are also on their way!
