Live the life of an undergraduate architecture student for two weeks; Experiment with materials, build structures, test professional design software, visit professional firms and city departments; Start developing your portfolio of creative work; Gain appreciation of architecture through design problems, drawing and modeling exercises, lectures and class discussions.
Ansgar Killing, MS
Ansgar Killing is teaching Architecture and Interdisciplinary Design at the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. He has earned his Master of Science degree from Cal Poly and a Diploma in Architecture from Biberach University of Applied Science in Germany. Ansgar's professional experience includes leadership positions in design and technology firms in the US and in Germany, awards in architectural design competitions, and publications and presentations at international conferences.
Includes orientation, site visits, guest speakers, college tours, college admissions overview, enrichment electives, lodging, breakfast, lunch, dinner, evening activities, and weekend excursions. Check in is day 1 at 3pm and check out is day 13 at 10am.
