Summer Springboard invites ambitious high school students to join us for a two-week SUMMER program on the campus of the University of Washington in Seattle, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE UW FOSTER SCHOOL OF BUSINESS.
The University of Washington is ranked as the world’s #2 best global public university by US News and World Report.
Students will be immersed in the heart of this diverse urban campus, known for its rich history of innovation and research. With state-of-the-art facilities, they will experience the Summer Springboard program in a stunning setting. The main campus is located in Seattle, a lively and dynamic city renowned for its strong global business presence, home to numerous Fortune 500 and international IT companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Starbucks, Costco, and Boeing.
The UW Foster School of Business Youth Program is a newly launched initiative designed to offer rising high school juniors and seniors a transformative learning experience. Debuting as a pilot in July 2025, the program is being developed in partnership with Summer Springboard.
It will feature rigorous academic coursework, interactive college preparation activities, visits to leading global companies in the Seattle area, and cultural enrichment opportunities, creating a uniquely impactful experience. Open to both domestic and international students, the program aims to provide an engaging and comprehensive educational journey.
You can attend this session at our program on-campus this summer as either a commuter or residential student:
Session 1:

OUR PROGRAM COURSES + ACADEMIC TRACKS
At the heart of your Summer Springboard program is the academic track you choose. Depending on your field of interest, you will take a course, led by an expert instructor, that is designed to give you a taste of the real-world college experience at a competitive university.
Each course is designed by educators and real world experts to allow high school students to quickly grasp core concepts in an easy and enjoyable way.
This summer, we’re offering a single course designed in partnership with the University of Washington Foster School of Business: Business & Leadership
Taught by UW Foster Faculty, this course equips students with critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills through rigorous coursework and a team-based case competition. Students will engage in college preparation workshops, collaborative activities, and excursions designed to enhance their readiness for higher education and future careers.
The program culminates in a case competition where students tackle a real-world business challenge from a renowned Seattle-based coffee company, developing and presenting strategic solutions. Through teamwork, analysis, and persuasive communication, students will gain invaluable skills while also experiencing an exclusive behind-the-scenes company visit.

COMMUTER & RESIDENTIAL OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE!
Whether you’re a local or live far away from campus, you can choose to be a residential student. Live full-time on-program and experience campus life, while staying overnight in our dorms. Residential students enjoy additional weekend excursions included with program tuition! This is an outstanding option and one we recommend to get the most familiarity with campus life and take part in everything there is to enjoy during the Summer Springboard experience.
If you live within the greater Seattle area however, you can opt to be a commuter student. Each day, simply arrive at campus for the start of the program, and depart from campus when your course and activity schedule is complete. This is a good option for local families not interested in dorming.
