This summer program is tailor-made for ambitious European and international students, as well as for Americans traveling across the Atlantic. Join us in the world-class city of Oxford in England for hands-on immersion in your chosen specialism.
For Summer Springboard students in Oxford, the city offers an exceptional setting for both academic growth and cultural discovery. Known worldwide for its academic prestige, Oxford is a dynamic center of learning that brings together scholars, researchers, and students from all corners of the globe. Here, students have the opportunity to connect with leading academics, delve into the city’s rich history, and experience the lively social and cultural life that makes Oxford truly unique.
Students who enroll in multiple weeks enjoy exciting weekend excursions to Cambridge and London, where they can immerse themselves in historic landmarks, vibrant city life, and the rich cultural heritage that defines each destination. Traveling in a comfortable luxury coach, students can relax and enjoy the journey as they explore the charming streets and colleges of Cambridge and the iconic sights of London.
Unlike our classic two-week program itineraries, our summer program for teens at Oxford provides an ideal opportunity to customize the duration of your program, and explore different academic tracks and career paths that may be of interest to you. You can choose to stay for just a week, but most students will choose to combine three weeks or more.
For those staying on campus, rooms are separated by gender. For dining, we are able to accommodate a variety of diets on most campuses, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, kosher, halal and specific food allergies, but please contact us in advance for specific dietary needs. Staff are trained in our 5-Point Safety System which ensures that any issues are addressed efficiently and safely. Additionally, there is a nightly curfew, and staff will routinely do rounds to make sure that students are not congregating in the hallways after lights out.

OXFORD
Each academic program includes field experiences designed to bring classroom learning to life through Oxford’s exceptional resources. Depending on your course, excursions may include visits to historic libraries, museums, research facilities, literary landmarks, or professional venues throughout the city. These experiences provide real-world context and exposure to Oxford’s unique academic environment. Your instructor will integrate relevant excursions that complement your course, drawing on Oxford’s centuries of scholarly tradition and cultural heritage.
Please note that our programs hosted in the United States, excluding at our Yale campus, feature our standard two-week itinerary and differ from our program schedules at Oxford and Yale.
