Day 1 & 2 of Summer Springboard (Session 2):
Highlights:
- Move In Day
- Over 70 students from all over the country (and world!) moved into Saybrook College for two weeks of fun!
- Academic Programs
- In addition to the Medicine & Healthcare, Business & Entrepreneurship, and Computer Science programs we had last session, we also have three new programs.
- Engineering – students will explore facets of mechanical, structural, civil, and electrical engineering in a hands-on, minds-on approach.
- Creative Writing – students will become immersed in the study of four different genres using the Writer’s Workshop methodology.
- Startup Law – students will receive an overview of the legal issues faced by startup companies seeking to raise venture capital financing.
- Yale Campus Tour
- The students walked around the Yale campus, taking in all of the beautiful architecture.
- A highlight was the Beinecke Rare Book & Manuscript Library, one of the world’s largest libraries devoted entirely to rare books and manuscripts
