In your process of exploring schools, you researched online, did campus tours and maybe even attended some classes. But behind all of the flashy catalogs and online rankings, there remains one elusive fact: there is no perfect college. There’s only the college that is perfect for you. But what is right for you?
Now is the perfect time for some deep introspection.
With the start of 2019, you may hear the common saying “New Year, New You”. But here at Summer Springboard, we encourage you to consider the New Year and the “True You”.
Understanding who you are is the first step towards evaluating colleges. Once you gain more insight into your own personality and style of learning, you can reflect on questions like: Rural or urban? Big or small? Liberal arts or specialized? Nearby or far away?
Our True You college prep curriculum starts with self-discovery and leads to a deeper understanding of the college application and admissions process. Through a series of self-assessments, campus visits, guided reflection and college admissions coaching, students become empowered to identify their individual vision of academic success and happiness.

Remember, it’s not just about getting into the best school, it’s discovering the best school for you. Too often the choice posed is what college to pick. The real choice is what life to pick.
