Andrea Paolini holds MA’s in Human Rights from the University of London, and in English and Creative Writing from the University of Windsor. She recently completed her Ph.D. in Writing and Human Rights at the University of Pittsburgh. With over 15 years of experience in international relations, Andrea has served in various capacities, including as a senior development officer for Indigenous programming with the Canadian government. She has also volunteered internationally through the World University Service of Canada in Ghana and Malawi, and recently supported the Vietnam Women’s Academy. In 2019-2020, Andrea conducted ethnographic and archival research in Malawi and Rwanda. During this time, she also served as a gender policy advisor to the national secretariat for Malawi’s tea sector. Andrea’s academic background and extensive professional experience make her a valuable asset in the field of human rights and international development.
