Summer Springboard is officially underway at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo!
Students from across the country arrived in beautiful San Luis Obispo, ready to kick off two weeks of hands-on learning, personal growth and unforgettable memories. After moving into their dorms and meeting roommates and mentors, students were quick to connect, brought together by shared goals, fresh excitement and the stunning backdrop of Cal Poly’s vibrant, tech-forward campus. The energy is high, the sun is shining, and this crew is already off and running.
With Day 1 behind them, students are jumping into a dynamic schedule packed with interactive academic courses led by inspiring instructors, fun and educational excursions around the Central Coast, and True You sessions that spark reflection and self-discovery.
Whether exploring Cal Poly’s innovative labs or soaking in the laid-back SLO atmosphere, this group is ready to make every moment count. We’re just getting started, and we can’t wait to see what’s ahead!

Week 1 at Cal Poly got off to a strong start!
Students wrapped up their first week full of new ideas, real challenges and great connections. The first True You workshop helped them reflect on what matters most as they dive deeper into their college and career goals. Academic courses pushed them to apply what they’re learning in hands-on ways, sparking curiosity and teamwork.
Their first excursions gave them a chance to explore the beautiful Central Coast and build friendships along the way. The energy is steady and focused as everyone gets comfortable with the pace.
Week 2 is coming up fast, bringing more chances to learn, grow, and make the most of this experience. We’re looking forward to seeing what’s next!

That’s a wrap on a memorable Summer Springboard experience!
What a journey it’s been on campus. After two incredible weeks of hands-on academic courses, inspiring True You workshops and adventurous weekend excursions, our students have crossed the finish line of an unforgettable Summer Springboard program. They’ve explored new ideas, challenged themselves and made friendships that will last long after they leave campus.
Throughout the program, students gained valuable insight into their college major interests and career aspirations, while reflecting on the kind of learners and future professionals they want to become. From engaging classroom discussions to real-world experiences beyond campus, this summer has been all about growth, discovery and setting the foundation for what’s next.
We’re so proud of everything they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see where their journeys take them. Here’s to new beginnings and exciting futures ahead!
