David is an experienced nursing educator and clinician, currently pursuing his Doctor of Education (Ed.D) specializing in Nursing Education at National University (expected graduation date of March 2026). He holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) specializing in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Oklahoma City University. His academic focus includes enhancing patient outcomes and advancing nursing education, as evidenced by his master’s project on improving care for CVA patients through augmented nurse education. David has an extensive teaching portfolio, serving as a Full-Time Nursing Instructor at Napa Valley Community College and previously as an Onboarding Educational Specialist at Hillcrest Medical Center. His teaching expertise spans nursing fundamentals, gerontology, mental health, and critical care, where he emphasizes evidence-based practice and interactive learning strategies. With over two decades of clinical experience, he has held roles in ICU care, travel nursing, and nursing leadership, excelling in critical care settings and advanced clinical procedures. He has developed and delivered comprehensive educational programs, including stroke education, dialysis, and moderate sedation training. He is an active member of professional organizations such as Sigma Theta Tau national honor society for nurses, National Society of Leadership and Success, and the American Nurses Association, he also contributes to mentorship programs for aspiring and graduate nurses. He has received the Outstanding Service Award and graduated with high honors from Oklahoma City University and he has been on the Graduate Dean’s Honor List throughout his doctoral program at National University.
