Dr. Rob Cortes obtained his PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from Georgetown University, where he was a National Science Foundation and Patrick Healy fellow. He earned his B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy at Georgetown University and is broadly interested in understanding and enhancing human cognition. His research focuses on utilizing brain stimulation to enhance various cognitive abilities and reveal the core functional brain networks that support them. Rob is passionate about teaching and has taught with SSB for 3 years, and also taught his own seminar at Georgetown University on Neurocognitive Enhancement.
