Theater Arts Course
overview
Have you ever dreamed of performing on Broadway? Over the course of this two-week program, students spend three hours each morning doing acting and voice lessons, as well as learning about the fundamentals of playwriting and stage production. Students will work in small groups to put together their own short play for presentation on the last day of the program.
Learning Outcomes in this course
Learn basic theater principles in stage movement, voice, diction, and pantomime
Obtain skills to feel confident on-stage, and boost self-confidence
Master improv skills in order to perform small skit as a final performance
Visit a Broadway or Off-Broadway production
