Medicine & Healthcare

Dr. Moreen Donahue, DNP, RN, NEA-BC

Dr. Donahue served as the Chief Nursing Officer for the Western Connecticut Health Network,  the region’s premier, patient-centered health care organization serving residents of Western Connecticut and adjacent New York. Dr.  Donahue completed her BSN degree at Boston College. Following this, she earned an MS degree in education from the State University of New York and her MSN in nursing and Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) degrees from Case Western Reserve University.

Trial Law

George Muksian, JD, Ed.M, MA

George Muksian

George Muksian combines a lifetime of courtroom experience with teaching experience at some of the nation’s top universities. He has worked as a criminal defense lawyer and prosecutor for many years, as well as having tried many cases in the Rhode Island and Massachusetts trial courts. George has also been a law lecturer at Tufts University, Johnson & Wales University and other universities. He holds degrees from Harvard University (Ed.M), Suffolk University (J.D.), Wesleyan University (M.A.), and Providence College (B.A.).

Psychology & Neuroscience

Lena Skalaban, Ph.D. candidate Yale University

Lena Skalaban is a Ph.D. candidate in Psychology at Yale University where she has been a teaching fellow for undergraduate courses such as The Human Brain and Research Methods in Psychology. She graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Psychology from New York University. Lena’s research focuses on the development of learning and memory, and what information might be adaptive to remember or forget depending on the particular point in development.

Writing for College

Dr. Lisa Acerbo, Ed.D

Dr. Lisa Acerbo is a university professor and published author of five young adult and new adult novels. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Dr. Acerbo helps judge a local annual literary competition and arts festival. She holds her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and has always loved reading and writing.

Business & Entrepreneurship

Steve Bevins, MBA, MAT

Steve has a variety of teaching and training experience in education and business. Currently he is a high school business teacher in the Career Education Department for North Haven Public Schools. In addition, he has industry experience as a financial operations analyst where he managed financial and regulatory reporting and maintained $15 million in a Fed Funds portfolio. He holds a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) as well as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Quinnipiac University.

Engineering & Innovation

Rich Bonnanzio, MSME, MSM

Rich has over forty years of experience in various capacities in the engineering industry. He was a model manager responsible for the V2500 program for International Aero Engines (IAE). IAE manages engineering, sales, production, customer support and aftermarket services for the V2500 engine – one of the most successful commercial jet-engine programs in production today. In addition, he was a design lead and deputy manager at Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in the design, manufacture, and service of aircraft engines and auxiliary power units. He holds an Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) from University of Bridgeport as well as a Master of Science in Management (MSM) from Albertus Magnus College.
