SSB at Berkeley – Do rooms have air-conditioning?

The Unit 1 and Unit 2 dorms do not have air conditioning. However, during the summer it is relatively cool, many students open windows at night to stay cool. In July, average temperatures at Berkeley are between a low of 53 F and a high of 73.9 F. You will want to pack light layers of clothing because you may actually get cold.
