Summer Springboard

Middle School Junior Architecture

Course Overview

Step into the world of architecture this summer with Springboard’s Junior Architecture program and discover how ideas become spaces you can draw, build, and explore. In this immersive experience, students become designers as they learn how buildings are imagined, planned, and brought to life. Through hands-on activities, creative challenges, and guided projects, students learn to see the world like architects—exploring how design shapes spaces, communities, and everyday life.

Students will draw, design, and construct their own Dream Home while exploring key concepts such as sustainability, structure, scale, and site. Along the way, they develop creative problem-solving, spatial thinking, and visual communication skills. Designed for students of all experience levels, the program fosters confidence, curiosity, and creativity in a supportive studio environment. Students leave with tangible work to share and a deeper appreciation for the built environment.

A student tuition supplement covers drafting equipment, sketchbooks, and sketching supplies for students to keep.
