Course Overview
The Cybersecurity program offers high school students an immersive experience into the world of cybersecurity. Held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, this program introduces participants to foundational concepts, including encryption, hashing, and encoding. Students engage in practical activities such as Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) challenges and live hacking scenarios, providing hands-on experience in the field.
Beyond technical skills, the program offers insights into various cybersecurity career paths, such as ethical hacking and digital forensics. Participants also have the opportunity to visit MIT’s Information Security and Technology facilities, gaining exposure to real-world applications of cybersecurity. Designed for students with or without prior coding experience, the program equips them with the knowledge and skills to pursue further studies or careers in cybersecurity.
