Middle School: STEM: Exploring Engineering & Clean Energy
Course Overview
This one-week course provides aspiring students with an exciting introduction to the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM). Students will explore the fundamentals of solar energy, including the physics behind electricity generation through solar panels. They will also learn key concepts of electricity, such as voltage, current, and resistance.
Through hands-on activities, students will design and build their own solar-powered cars as part of a mini-project. Working both independently and in teams, they will deepen their understanding of solar energy and engineering principles. The course culminates in a fun and engaging competition, where students will put their solar cars to the test in thrilling races.
