Summer Springboard has officially begun at Georgia Tech!
Students arrived on campus, settling into dorms and meeting their roommates and mentors as they prepare for two weeks of hands-on learning and new experiences. With the campus buzzing quietly in the background, students are already making connections and getting comfortable in this dynamic environment. The blend of focus and excitement is setting the tone for a great session ahead.
Over the next two weeks, students will engage in interactive courses, participate in local excursions, and take part in True You sessions designed to encourage self-reflection and growth.
Whether collaborating in classrooms or exploring what’s around Atlanta, this group is ready to learn, grow and make the most of their time here on the campus of Georgia Tech. We’re looking forward to seeing how the program unfolds!
Here are some highlights from the start of the program:
- Arrival Day! Students were welcomed with a fun and festive photobooth to commemorate the start of their Summer Springboard journey at Georgia Tech. Smiles, selfies and excitement filled the air!
- On Monday, students met their instructors and jumped right into their academic tracks which lays the foundation for a rich learning experience ahead.
- Students had a chance to explore the Georgia Tech campus, getting a firsthand look at one of the nation’s top universities and learning about its traditions, student life and innovation hubs.
- The first college readiness workshops focused on public speaking, college admissions and leadership skills. Students engaged in thoughtful discussions and left with actionable insights and increased confidence.
- Students were off to their academic excursions tied to their program tracks — an exciting way to bring learning to life beyond the classroom.

Week 1 at Georgia Tech was a memorable kickoff!
Students wrapped up an energizing first week packed with hands-on learning, dynamic True You workshops and engaging excursions. They tackled new challenges head-on, sparked fresh ideas in their courses and made solid connections with peers and mentors. The buzz around campus is all about curiosity and growth.
With so much momentum, everyone’s geared up and ready to dive into Week 2. More opportunities to explore, create, and push boundaries lie ahead.

That’s a wrap on a memorable Summer Springboard experience!
What a journey it’s been on campus. After two incredible weeks of hands-on academic courses, inspiring True You workshops and adventurous weekend excursions, our students have crossed the finish line of an unforgettable Summer Springboard program. They’ve explored new ideas, challenged themselves and made friendships that will last long after they leave campus.
Throughout the program, students gained valuable insight into their college major interests and career aspirations, while reflecting on the kind of learners and future professionals they want to become. From engaging classroom discussions to real-world experiences beyond campus, this summer has been all about growth, discovery and setting the foundation for what’s next.
We’re so proud of everything they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see where their journeys take them. Here’s to new beginnings and exciting futures ahead!
