Meet Your Instructor
Christopher Westmoreland is an Instructor at Middle Tennessee State University in the Criminal Justice Program. As a trial attorney for over 20 years, he has been known to have the heart of a teacher in the courtroom. Transitioning from full-time law practice to education, he connects real world application with the principles and concepts taught in the classroom. Christopher believes that education is never wasted, and is currently seeking his Master’s of Law (LLM). He holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Juris Doctorate degree.
Despite a Michigan birthplace, Christopher has lived in middle Tennessee the majority of his life and calls it home. He is happily married to Lydia, whom he met in high school. They share four children, all now adults. In his spare time, he tries to golf and reads everything.
