Instructors are an integral part of the Summer Springboard experience. We are seeking dynamic, passionate, and engaging individuals who can bring their real-world expertise into the classroom and inspire motivated high school and middle school students.

How to Apply

  1. Review open positions by campus. Click here to see the available courses and dates.
  2. Email instructors@summerspringboard.com with the subject line:
    “Instructor Application – [Course of Interest] – [Campus of Interest]”
  3. Attach your resume and briefly describe your motivation in applying to be a Summer Springboard instructor.
  4. Selected candidates will be invited for a Zoom interview with the Program Director for your campus of interest.
  5. Final candidates will undergo background checks and work with the Program Director to plan for the summer, playing an active role in shaping the curriculum and creating transformative, hands-on learning experiences for students.

Position & Responsibilities

As an Instructor, you will:

  • Lead engaging, hands-on classes in your area of expertise.
  • Facilitate meaningful discussions that connect academic content to real-world career pathways.
  • Work with Program Directors to refine curriculum, plan interactive activities, and prepare and attend off-campus academic excursions that enhance learning.
  • Inspire and mentor students, guiding them as they explore college life, personal growth, and future career opportunities.
  • Collaborate with SSB staff who provide classroom and off-campus support so you can focus on teaching.
