    • On Saturday, the students took a trip to SF, where they got a chance to see some of the famous spots below:
      • Golden Gate Bridge
      • Golden Gate Park
      • Haight Ashbury
      • Union Square
      • Pier 39
      • Ghirardelli Square
  • Computer Science Excursion – Microsoft
    • Students got a behind-the-scenes tour of the Microsoft office in Sunnyvale.
    • They met with Peter McFadden, Solution Specialist in Education at Microsoft, for real-world insight on new, cutting edge technology.
    • The Microsoft Education group has the goal of empowering every student on the planet to achieve more. They believe in the potential of every student. And they believe, with the right tools, everything is possible.
  • Engineering Guest Speaker – Travis Kwee, Cisco
    • Travis Kwee, Social and Environment Responsibility Specialist at Cisco, was a guest speaker in the engineering & innovation track.
    • Travis is a Rice University graduate (Mechanical Engineering and Energy & Water Sustainability) interested in sustainable design through supply chain, green buildings, & renewable energy.
    • Students asked tons of questions and Travis discussed the important role of sustainability and the environment in engineering.
