About This Course
Explore the world of dentistry through hands-on activities focused on dental anatomy, preventive care, and modern dental technologies. Students will practice foundational techniques, learn from dental professionals, and discover career pathways while gaining insight into the importance of oral health and patient care
TOPICS YOU'LL EXPLORE
Hands-on Learning
Participate in hands-on activities on the University of Washington campus to practice foundational dental techniques, explore dental instruments, and learn how dental professionals assess and care for patients’ oral health.
Career Exploration
Students will explore career pathways in dentistry, including general dentistry, orthodontics, oral surgery, dental research, and public health. Through insights from dental professionals, they will gain a better understanding of the education, skills, and responsibilities involved in pursuing a career in oral healthcare.
