Interior Design I
Course Overview
Students will learn the fundamentals of interior design such as drafting, color theory and materials. The course takes a practical approach by starting with a topic close to everyone’s heart – home. Through hands-on projects focused on apartment/home design, students will gain insights into furniture dynamics, spatial flow, and the psychology of interior spaces.
Participants will develop a comprehensive understanding of furniture and fabric, along with the ability to strategically layout a room.
Earn College Credits: Seize the chance to earn one college credit applicable towards an undergraduate degree at NYSID or for inclusion in your future college applications.
