Team Yale Blog!

Welcome to the first few days of SSB Yale! Our students began arriving on Sunday from all around the world. We settled them into their new dormitories at Benjamin Franklin College, where they will be staying for the duration of their stay. Afterward, we enjoyed a delicious meal prepared by the dining hall.

On Monday, we kicked off our program with an orientation led by Megan, followed by finding our classrooms. Each different track met their instructors, learned about the course, and what we will be doing for the next few days. In the afternoon, we met our mentor groups and toured the Yale Campus, exploring the boundaries and some of the beautiful buildings.

Tuesday was equally exciting. After lunch, we continued our campus tour and got to know each other better. In the evening, our Emergency Medicine instructor, Enrique, led us in some yoga in the courtyard. It’s been a fantastic start to our time together at Yale!

The Summer Springboard program at Yale has been fantastic! Students have explored the beautiful Yale campus, really soaking in its rich history. They also took an exciting trip to Boston, which added even more fun to their experience. Classes have gone on some great excursions, making learning hands-on and engaging. Now, students are finishing up their projects, showing off all they’ve learned. And to top it all off, they had an awesome day at Six Flags, with plenty of fun to keep everyone smiling.
