Summer Springboard has landed at Yale, and the energy is off the charts!
Students arrived on campus, ready to dive into two incredible weeks filled with discovery, learning, and new friendships in the heart of New Haven. After settling into their dorms and meeting roommates and mentors, the excitement was contagious as everyone started connecting over shared goals and the inspiring atmosphere of this world-renowned university campus. With Yale’s historic architecture and vibrant campus life as a backdrop, it’s clear this experience is going to be unforgettable.
What’s next? From hands-on classes and creative challenges to eye-opening excursions and True You sessions, students are about to embark on a journey of growth and exploration.
Whether debating big ideas in the classroom or discovering what makes them tick, this group is ready to seize every opportunity, and we’re just getting started. The next two weeks are going to fly by, and we can’t wait to watch every moment unfold!

Week 1 on the campus Yale was an incredible kickoff!
Parents and family members, your teens have jumped into their first week with energy and enthusiasm that’s truly inspiring! From the moment they arrived, they’ve been immersed in hands-on academic courses, thought-provoking True You workshops and engaging excursions.
They’re not just learning, they’re growing, exploring new ideas, and starting to uncover their passions and goals.
Your teens have faced exciting challenges, built meaningful friendships and embraced every opportunity to discover who they are and where they want to go next. Whether diving into classroom discussions or soaking in the vibrant New Haven community, they’re making every moment count.
With Week 2 coming up, there’s even more to look forward to: more learning, more growth and more unforgettable experiences. We’re excited to watch their journeys continue!
Here are some highlights from the first week of the program:
- Students enjoyed some friendly competition and fun in The Buttery, our go-to hangout spot on campus!
- Business and Entrepreneurship students got an exclusive visit from Laurie and Kevin, founders of Make A Castle—inspiring young innovators with their entrepreneurial journey.
- Who says sand castles are just for the beach? Students brought the shoreline indoors for some creative castle building!
- Fashion Club turned tote bags into works of art, showcasing individual style and supporting one another’s creative expression.
- Shoutout to Mentor Group “The Blue Bombshells” for proudly displaying their custom group flag with team spirit and flair!

That’s a wrap on a memorable Summer Springboard experience!
What a journey it’s been on campus. After two incredible weeks of hands-on academic courses, inspiring True You workshops and adventurous weekend excursions, our students have crossed the finish line of an unforgettable Summer Springboard program. They’ve explored new ideas, challenged themselves and made friendships that will last long after they leave campus.
Throughout the program, students gained valuable insight into their college major interests and career aspirations, while reflecting on the kind of learners and future professionals they want to become. From engaging classroom discussions to real-world experiences beyond campus, this summer has been all about growth, discovery and setting the foundation for what’s next.
We’re so proud of everything they’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see where their journeys take them. Here’s to new beginnings and exciting futures ahead!

- Had a blast at Six Flags and showed off fun souvenirs
- Digital Marketing & Social Media students took headshots and filmed their brand identity videos
- Enjoyed a ride on the Duck Boat — and even got to drive it!
- Explored Harvard Square and admired artwork at the Harvard Art Museum
- Psychology & Neuroscience students completed an obstacle course while wearing upside-down challenge goggles
