About This Course
Explore the fascinating world of eye health and vision science in Summer Springboard’s Ophthalmology program. Students will learn about the anatomy of the eye, common vision conditions, and the technologies used to diagnose and treat eye disorders. Through hands-on activities, discussions, and real-world applications, participants gain insight into how eye care professionals help patients protect and improve their vision.
Students will also explore career pathways in ophthalmology, optometry, and vision science while developing critical thinking and observation skills. This program encourages curiosity about the human body, medical innovation, and the many ways healthcare professionals improve quality of life.
