Course Overview
Are you interested in learning how the world works, what causes war, and the conditions of peace?
This summer, immerse yourself in international affairs by learning how the world works. You will receive an introduction to the world of politics and the social-historical impact of global development by exploring topics such as foreign policy, international Law, diplomacy, human rights, and environmental issues, among others.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Outcome #1
Learn to address global issues by investigating and researching the relationships between various nation-states, cultures, and intergovernmental organizations such as the United Nations, and other NGOs.
Outcome #2
Debate international conflicts, seek solutions and learn to negotiate and reach successful conflict resolution.
Outcome #3
Collaborate and strategize with students and staff from different countries to develop new approaches to global issues.

Participate in a Model UN simulation and receive feedback from professionals in the field.
