BLOG POST FOR JULY 31
The last session for Oxford, and the final session for Summer Springboard this summer, has started off really well. The students have settled in quickly, making friends and forming bonds with ease. Classes have gotten off to a strong start, with a particularly cool highlight from this week being the dissection, as pictured. The enthusiasm and curiosity of the students have been evident, setting a great tone for the session.
Class excursions are about to begin, and we’re really looking forward to the exciting weekend ahead, where we’ll be touring some iconic spots in the London area. The anticipation is high as we prepare to explore these historic and cultural landmarks. This session is shaping up to be a memorable conclusion to a fantastic summer, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the week holds.

The final session for this summer has been amazing so far with this group of students. The energy has been high since day one, creating a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere. Students have gone on some pretty amazing class excursions, and over the weekend, they had the chance to do some fantastic activities while touring the London area. Although we’re sad that the week and overall summer are coming to a close, we’re determined to make the rest of our time together the best it can be. We’re looking forward to more class excursions and, of course, the closing ceremony and soiree, which will be a wonderful way to celebrate the end of a remarkable summer.

That officially wraps up our summer at Oxford and our programs for the summer of 2024. It was a fantastic group of students, and although we’re sad to say goodbye until next summer, we’re glad that we got to end the season with this group. The energy and enthusiasm they brought made the experience truly special. Students finished off the second week with some awesome class excursions, which provided engaging opportunities to learn outside the classroom. However, the main highlight was going out on a bang with our closing ceremony and soiree. We look forward to seeing how these students grow on their journey, and we’d love to have them back next summer!
