Course Overview

Nursing is the largest, the most diverse, and one of the most respected of all healthcare professions. Nursing employment is expected to increase by 9% by 2030, post-pandemic, progressively more students have been considering this career path. Nurses are responsible for providing primary health care and specialty services to individuals, families, and communities. Discover the diverse career opportunities and what a day in the life of a nurse looks like. Meet your instructor

David Jensen, MSN, RN

Nursing

David is an experienced nursing educator and clinician, currently pursuing his Doctor of Education (Ed.D) specializing in Nursing Education at National University (expected graduation date of March 2026). He holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) specializing in Education and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Oklahoma City University. His academic focus includes enhancing patient outcomes and advancing nursing education, as evidenced by his master’s project on improving care for CVA patients through augmented nurse education.
