Scott Looney completed his MFA in music composition at California Institute of Arts and is the founder and CTO of The Game Audio Institute. At Game Audio Institute, Scott wears many hats, he’s been a course designer, game demo developer, level designer, programmer in Unity, Unreal and C#. Scott has over 15 years of experience as an engineer with a focus on professional audio recording, digital audio production and sound design with an emphasis on interactive media and games. He’s served as faculty at the Academy of Art University and University of California, Santa Cruz in Game Audio education. He is also the co-author of the Essential Guide to Game Audio (Focal Press 2014).
