In the afternoons, students choose an enrichment elective that provides useful life skills or a deeper understanding of the college application and admissions process. Electives are 90-minute sessions that occur 4 times during the program (generally Thursday and Friday of week 1 and Monday and Tuesday of week 2). Before the start of the program, every family must complete the required Summer Springboard Medical Form, detailing any past illnesses, and any non-prescription and prescription medications that the student regularly takes.

Summer Springboard has a limited pool of need-based scholarships available for our programs. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need as well as student achievement.

Students are transported to academic excursion sites by a combination of public transportation (subways), or private buses.
